Burglars returned the computers they stole from a Sexual Assault Services Office after they learned the mission of the place, myfoxphilly reported.
The equipment was all in a shopping cart by the front door when workers arrived in the morning. The burglars had broken in the previous night and taken the equipment.
Along with the returned equipment was a note that said, "We had no idea what we were taking. Here's your stuff back. We hope that you guys can continue to make a difference in people's lives. God bless."
This happened at the San Bernardino Sexual Assault Services Center. The center serves as a place to provide support to victims of sexual assault and domestic violence, free of charge.
Candy Stallings, the director of center got chills after finding out what the thieves did.
"We were all pretty shocked," Stallings told NBC LA. "You've got to be kidding me. I was in disbelief. I got chills. I got very emotional."
Officers in the area say that they haven't seen anything like this in their years of service.
