A biker robbed at gunpoint by a thief used his helmet-mounted camera to capture the moment an armed policeman shot the robber dead - reports metro.co.uk.
In the graphic clip the rider is seen cruising the streets before the robber – on the back of another motorbike being driven by an accomplice – comes into frame from behind and grabs the handlebar.
After a gun is pointed in his face, and with the robber yelling at him, the rider gets off the bike and backs away.
As the thief climbs on to the stolen bike, a policeman bursts out of a shop across the street and opens fire – dropping the robber while his accomplice roars away.
The incident reportedly took place in Sao Paulo, Brazil, on Saturday.
The video, which has attracted more than 2,000 comments, was posted on video website LiveLeak, which said the robber later died from his injuries.
It comes ahead of the 2014 World Cup and 2016 Olympics – both of which are to be held in Brazil.
One commentator said: ‘Required gear for the next World Cup: a customary vuvuzela and a bulletproof jacket.’
Another said the policeman ‘must be a great shot. There was tons of stuff behind the thief. Crazy shot but glad he went down.’
However, some were more sympathetic to the dead man.
‘Of course theft is stupid, but I’m pretty sure that kid didn’t want to grow up and become a thief. It was probably that poor kid only way to make money,’ added one.
