The action hero, 67, pranked unwitting film fans by posing as the mannequin of his T-800 alter ego - before suddenly stunning them by 'coming to life'.
The fun-loving screen star, who has also been the Governor of California during his illustrious career, took part in the practical joke in a bid to highlight his charity After-School All-Stars.
In the footage, which he uploaded via video on Thursday, countless movie buffs were seen posing with the apparent waxwork, before being terrified when he recites one of his catchphrases - or, worse, moving.
Founded in 1992, After School All Stars is designed to assist financially-challenged youths thrive in education.
They started in Los Angeles with 40,000 youth competing in summer time athletic and academic competitions, and now it provides comprehensive out-of-school time programs to 72,053 participants at 326 schools.
