The world's fastest two seater broke record

The Hennessey Venom GT sets a new world speed record for two-seat sports cars by reaching a top speed of 435.31kph.

Racing driver Brian Smith piloted the supercar down the Kennedy Space Center’s 3.2-mile Space Shuttle runway to a maximum velocity.
The Venom GT was still accelerating when test driver ran out of track.
He thinks that the Venom GT could actually manage another 5 to 10mph with a longer track.

Thanks to twin turbos, the engine puts down 1,244 fire-breathing horsepower.
The Venom’s speed bested the previous mark of 267.86 mph set by the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport in 2010.
