Two men have pleaded not guilty to the murder of Drummer Lee Rigby earlier this year - reports Sky News.
Michael Adebolajo and Michael Adebowale appeared at Old Bailey via videolink before their trial. Drummer Rigby, a father of one, was stabbed as he returned to the Woolwich barracks in southeast London on May 22. The soldier's widow Rebecca Rigby watched in tears as Adebolajo, 28, and Adebowale, 22, each denied attempting to murder a police officer on the day of Drummer Rigby's death.
The widow of Drummer Lee Rigby broke down in court as two men plead not guilty to murdering him in a London street.
They also denied conspiracy to murder on or before that day. Adebolajo, from Romford in Essex, has asked to be known as Mujaahid Abu Hamza in court, while Adebowale, from Greenwich, southeast London, has asked to be called Ismail Ibn Abdullah. They were remanded in custody to face trial at the Old Bailey on November 19.
