A Guns N' Roses fan is going to sue band’s front man Axl Rose after the singer knocked his teeth out with a microphone Saturday.
At the end of Guns ‘n Roses concert in Australia’s Perth, lead singer Axl Rose threw his microphone into the crowd.
Unfortunately, the microphone hit Darren Wright, whose mouth was injured.
The man has now started legal proceedings to have his dental work paid for, saying it will take months to complete at a cost of $5,000.
Darren said that at first he did not realize the microphone has hit him, but instead thought he got punched. In a moment he felt bits of teeth in his mouth.
'I don't think he intended to do it, but it came at me at a fairly flat and hard trajectory. Those cordless microphones are not light. I'm surprised it didn't do more damage. At the very least, I want someone to pay to get my teeth fixed,' Darren said later.
Tour promoter Andrew McManus left a message on the fan's mobile phone apologizing for the incident and offering to give him a microphone signed by the band, but the 39-year-old Darren has turned down the offer.
